The beginning of boat rental in Poland
The idea of establishing a boat rental company in Masuria, Poland, resulted from a mundane reason. Both Tyszko brothers were looking for opportunities to invest their first earned money in the Internet trade. The first boat bought from a neighbour living by the lake required a bigger renovation, so the first season didn’t even work out with a charter.
Looking for suitable further motor yachts, the Tyszko brothers found their way to Polish shipyards, which are the leader in the production of displacement hull boats in Europe. Such motor boats are ideal for rent in the Masuria region due to their walking and large comfortable space for a week’s rest on the water. The business started in 2012 and so far has been developing in an exemplary way. The current fleet already includes over a dozen motor yachts, all of which are manufactured in Poland. Of course, there are plans to invest in more and more houseboats.
Many places to rent a boat in Europe
The business connected with renting boats concerns not only Mazury. You can sail around the Szczecin Lagoon all day long, exploring little-known corners or sailing to your neighbors in Germany. You can also reach the Baltic Sea waters in just 2-2.5 hours. The advantages are already appreciated by customers of local companies. Many of them are willing to go to Bornholm and even sail to the Swedish Ystad. As you can see, there is a wide range of boat rentals available in Europe.
The technology of powerboats production in Poland is based on traditional polyester-glass laminate. As in the rest of the world, motor boats in Poland are made by hand, while local production is distinguished by a more precise matting with resin. Original planing hull shapes, full of bends and concave shapes are also technically justified. The bends of the surface below the waterline are to improve the hydrodynamic properties by producing the effect of airbags on them. The second objective is simply to make the whole structure more rigid, hence similar solutions also in the above-water part.

Cabin cruisers have a shower on board, a hot water boiler and Webasto heating can even be installed. The roof surface above the cabin is also suitable for use – larger motor yachts have mattresses, deckchairs, and, in richer versions, a flybridge control console.
